Each of us is responsible for how people perceive the religion. Be the best Muslim that you can be. Be the best of mankind.
Evidently today, many Muslims are embarrassed to admit openly that they are Muslims, more so act like one, because of the bad press and their worry of how people would think of them. Worrying and sad. My advice, think long term. Don’t care so much how they’d think of you, but worry how you look in His Judgement.
